Chapter 6: Kind of Sick

Faelan ages up and moves out immediately, taking Daisy with him, leaving two cats in this household. His girlfriend Yasmin had aged up a few days before, so very shortly after he'd settled into his new house, they married, as pretty much everyone expected.

Prom night.

Drustan's date, Krystal, does not approve of Tamira lounging around in her underwear.

Both Carey and Drustan went into the prom with romantic interests and came out with steady partners. Pretty much as expected.

Carey still has Maggie Hooley as a romantic interest, but all his wishes are for Cara. Over the weekend, he takes her on a date to the fall festival to fulfill them all. 

"Hey, teen pregnancy is turned off for this legacy, right?"

 I thought so. *goes to check* Yeah, it's off. You're okay.

"I have to go puke. Save that wish to kiss me for after I'm done."

"Can't I kiss you before you puke?"

"If you want to risk me puking in your mouth..."

"Okay, later then."

Cara rushes off to the restroom. And Carey suddenly pops a wish to meet a vampire. I don't think there is even a vampire in this town, though...

Ah, here's one. Dressed as a hotel desk clerk...must be recently spawned. His name is Ashley Martell, and he and Carey are buds now.

After throwing up, Cara decides to go home, ending the date and leaving Carey with an unfulfilled kiss wish, plus another new wish for a date with Cara. He also wished to pillow fight with Ashley the vampire, but though he accepted the invitation back to Carey's house, Ashley didn't follow through.

Not that this house lacks for pillow fights. Jamie is still suffering his midlife crisis, and doesn't get to fulfill any of the wishes. Sorry bud, you're all full with wishes to see these kids graduate and to get a grandchild. And I don't feel like putting in a driveway so you can buy an expensive car.

Cara is already a YA by Carey's birthday. Maggie Hooley had turned YA, too, a few days before. Maggie also quickly married her high school boyfriend, Dillon Lawless, who she cheated on with Carey. Both women chose careers in business, which is Carey's LTW career. Now that would make an interesting office drama.

Everyone gather's around for the birthday cake.

Tamira had finally finishes her LTW just a few days before, and passed the torch to Carey.

And now he is a man, with the Flirty trait.

"I was already flirty."

Right, that's why I gave you that trait, lover boy.

Out of the way, Dustin. Carey has wishes to fulfill.

"That was a really long wait for a kiss."

"Sorry, I aged up. And teen-YA kisses are kind of disturbing. I'd just end up nomming your head. No one wants to see that."

The only double bed in the house is currently in use.

So Carey and Cara wait their turn. 

"I see your package has aged up as well."

"It would be pretty weird if it didn't."

After the party, Carey takes a job in the Business career, as he wished, and spends one last night in the house. Tomorrow, he's moving out on his own.

**INTERMISSION**

*cue Intermission music*

And now

for something

completely different.

Intermission is over. Please return to your seats.

Carey moves into his new house right after his first day of work is over. It turns out that Maggie (Hooley) Lawless is his boss, and Cara is his co-worker, That should be interesting.

He still has a wish for a date with Cara to fulfill, so he invites her over. She is thrilled to see him, apparently.

Right away, they try out his new bed.

Carey's favorite color is white. I obviously didn't take that into consideration when decorating.

Their 'date' consisted pretty much of running between the bed and the shower to woohoo. Cara then spent the night. The next day is Spooky Day. Carey rolls a wish for a Feast Party.

But first, he and Cara have to go to City Hall for graduation.

Michael McCarthy's son, Van, has also aged up and is graduating today. This isn't the best pic of him, but never fear, I'm sure I will begin stalking him very soon, and there will be pictures. Yes, many, many pictures of Van McCarthy.

Van married his high school sweetheart, the rather 'normal' looking Camille Pleasant-Burb. I hope the kids get his genetics.

While I'm waiting outside the rabbithole, I am attracted to some unexpected townie drama.

"You always thought you were so special because you weren't an orphan like the rest of us!" Nora Lawless, one of the orphans raised in the Predergast orphange, lashes out the one child actually born in the house, Wendy Predergast.

"My mother was almost an elder when she had me," Wendy shrieks, "She died when I was a kid. You had more time with her than I did!"

Cassidy Predegast was near elder when she married Kearney O'Shea, the green haired guy on the left of this picture. She raised the three Lawless kids, the two Dwyers and Cara Gallgher and had just one child of her own, Wendy. I'm not exactly sure where Wendy's dark red skintone comes from. Both her parents were on the lighter end of the spectrum. So even if Cassidy's skin was the red ramp, I'd think her daughter would have been more pink. Her green hair is definitely from Kearney.

Graduation over, it's time for that Feast Party. Tamsyn aged up to teen the night before.

"Heeey...did you steal this rainbow butterfly from Mom and Dad's bedroom?"

Shut up, Drustan.

"So, it's a party. Should we go woohoo?"

"Totally. But my parents are using my bed right now, so we'll have to do it later."

"Not a problem."

Despite being married to the guy she was dating before her fling with Carey, Maggie is outraged to see Carey romancing Cara.

This does not bode well. Not at all.

"This isn't what it looks like!"

Actually, I don't know what that looks like. 

(The guy, btw, is Dillon Lawless. He grew up with Cara in the Predergst orphanage, and is now Maggie's husband. For those that play DV, Cara and Dillon are both face 1 vanillas, unlike the other kids in the orphanage. I had to edit them both to give them unique features.)

"Try not to puke on me, Cara."

"You could move out of the way, doofus,"

So, Cara is feeling is nauseous. As far as I know, she and Carey have never risky woohooed, and there was that time as a teen when she got nauseous for no discernible reason. So, probably not pregnant, right?

Erm, why are you talking about baby stuff? You aren't pregnant, right?

(I decide to keep myself in suspense and not check. I do know that Cara does not have the Family Oriented trait.)

"Hey, good lookin---"

"Ew, Maggie, you're married."

"You didn't mind sleeping with me when I was Dillon's girlfriend..."

"That was high school. I'm serious about Cara now. And you're married, Maggie."

"I think your bed is free now...how about it?"

When Carey follows Cara toward the bedroom, Maggie decides she's had enough of his shit. 

"You filthy cheating bastard!"

"But...you cheated on Dillon first---"

"That's not the point!"

Maggie is his boss. Carey realizes his chances of getting that promotion right now are pretty slim.

"Dirty cheating bastard!" 

Carey does acquire the 'Cheater' reputation after this accusation, and loses Maggie as a Romantic Interest, as well as dropping their relationship score to 0. Way to impress the boss, Carey.

I didn't know I was going to have to work for this crazy bitch when I grew up.

Yeah, that's the problem with small towns.

Dillon stands quietly through this whole scene.

All the while, Cara has been waiting for Carey to join her in his bed.

"Everything okay?"

"Maggie accused me of cheating on her. Even though the last time we were together was that slumber party I had."

"When I walked in one you?"

"Yeah, that time. I'm all yours now, I guess. Unless you want to accuse me of cheating, too?"

"Nah, I just want to woohoo. It's going to be pretty weird at work on Monday, I bet."

Cara changes into outwear to go outside and watch Tamira play guitar. This is my best outwear outfit ever. *pats self on back*

She doesn't get very far, though, before she has to run to the bathroom. 

Carey is autonomously doing laundry! For the second time since he moved in here! Please, please keep this up!

I really don't know how or when Cara could have gotten knocked up. I guess I maybe didn't look every time they woohooed to see if it was risky or not. Maybe some of the food went off...but I think she's pregnant. No, I'm not going to peek. I'm not.

"Hey, Carey? I've been feeling kind of sick all day, and I just threw up. I think I might be pregnant."

"...."

Cara spends the night and wakes up at 1am. I thought for sure she was going to spin into maternity wear right there.

But, no, she just went outside and stood Mr. Evil Gnome back up. Someone had kicked him over at the party.

Carey gets up a few hours later, and everything seems normal. She's not nauseous, not thinking or taking about baby things. Maybe she's not pregnant?

And...my suspense is over. Definitely pregnant. I'm not 100% sure it's Carey's though. I'm pretty sure, since she did completely break up with her first boyfriend for Carey and hasn't dated anyone else since prom made them steady. She does have Commitment Issues, but I don't think Carey even gave her time to sleep with anyone else. They've been together this whole time...I'll know for sure once the baby is born, or if Carey starts rolling typical expectant father wishes. I won't peek before that, tempted though I may be.

Faelan and Carey are both up on the Exchange. I'm not going to be automatically putting Sims up for download in .sim format anymore. I am happy to share, and I will put up any heir or spae that' wanted bt request. But there are a bunch of Sims I put up that don't get downloaded, which is fine. I just don't want them cluttering up my mediafire.

Nirar, I still haven't checked Michael's package, lol. Well, I just need to make sure I have a copy that doesn't have weird CC, then I can upload him for you. If you want his son Van too, let me know.
